Live-streaming sulla pagina Facebook dell’Arcidiocesi di Monreale
Il prossimo Giovedì 28 Gennaio alle 21:00 il Prof Francesco Pira, Sociologo e Docente di Comunicazione dell’Università di Messina (Delegato del Rettore alla Comunicazione), terrà una web-conference su Emergenza Educativa sui Social-Web.
Alla videoconferenza sarà possibile partecipare tramite la piattaforma Google MEET al seguente link: https://meet.google.com/yww-owfy-rug l’accesso sarà consentito a partire dalle 20:45 (è necessario possedere un account google già attivo per poter accedere).
L’incontro promosso dall’Ufficio per le Comunicazioni Sociali dell’Arcidiocesi di Monreale e voluto da Mons Michele Pennisi, Arcivescovo di Monreale, è organizzato insieme all’Ufficio Pastorale Diocesano della Famiglia, della Scuola, Catechistico e dal Servizio Diocesano per la Pastorale Giovanile, ed è rivolto a tutti i genitori, gli insegnanti e gli educatori.
Lo scopo dell’incontro è quello di imparare a formulare le giuste domande sulla nuova sfida educativa che il multiforme universo web dei social ha ormai da molti anni innescato e che risulta ancora estraneo a qualunque sistema educativo: da quello scolastico a quello oratoriale delle parrocchie, e men che meno, in quello familiare.
Le drammatiche notizie di cronaca, circa i risvolti anche mortali su un uso inconsapevole dei nuovi strumenti tecnologici, dei social in particolare, ci costringono a una vera conversione educativa: “perché i rischi che corrono i più piccoli sui social network, acuiti anche con l’uso eccessivo di tecnologie per l’emergenza pandemica, sono particolarmente importanti e sensibili poiché sono diventati ormai i luoghi prevalenti di costruzione identitaria.”
Così afferma il prof. Francesco Pira, sociologo e docente di comunicazione dell’Università di Messina, a cui abbiamo chiesto aiuto per chiarire i nostri dubbi che al momento sono offuscati dallo sgomento per la drammatica notizia, di giovedì scorso, della morte della piccola Antonella, che nel luogo sicuro della sua casa di Palermo, a 10 anni, si soffoca per una challenge su Tik Tok.

“Se ciascuno riesce a recuperare il proprio ruolo e torna a guidare il processo, costruendo nuove regole e non semplicemente adottando regole e strumenti che l’industria del web realizza per alimentare il proprio business, allora sarà possibile invertire l’attuale tendenza”.
