E’ stato sottoscritto da parte del Comune di Monreale con la Ecolandia che ha sede a Catania , il contratto d’appalto per l’esecuzione del servizio di spazzamento, raccolta e trasporto allo smaltimento dei rifiuti solidi urbani differenziati e indifferenziati.
Il capitolato prevede anche i servizi raccolta ingombranti, decespugliamento e le discariche abusive nel territorio di Monreale . Il contratto avrà la durata di anni uno per un importo di circa 3 milioni di Euro oltre iva al 10 per cento.
Per l’amministrazione comunale ha firmato il dirigente dell’area Gestione del Territorio Maurizio Busacca , per l’impresa ha sottoscritto il documento Domenico Navarria , ufficiale rogante il segretario
generale Francesco Fragale, presente anche il direttore di Ecolandia Salvatore Bonaventura .
Il servizio espletato dalla ditta Ecolandia era partito il primo dicembre da domani verranno attivati tutti i servizi aggiuntivi .
“ Grazie a questa nuova gestione della raccolta dei rifiuti – ha dichiarato il
Sindaco Alberto Arcidiacono- ci auguriamo che possa esserci la massima collaborazione da parte dei cittadini che devono fare il possibile per aumentare i numeri della raccolta differenziata, che ci consentirà come comune di ricevere la premialitá da parte della Regione Siciliana e abbassare i costi per lo smaltimento della raccolta indifferenziata”.
