Arcidiacono e Intravaia: “Gli uffici hanno predisposto un progetto ex novo che sarà finanziato dalla Regione”
L’assessorato regionale allo Sport, finanzierà il rifacimento del campo di calcio Conca d’Oro. A darne notizia sono il sindaco di Monreale Alberto Arcidiacono e il presidente del Consiglio comunale Marco Intravaia. Il vecchio progetto, depositato alla Regione nel 2013, era ormai diventato vetusto e inutilizzabile, così gli uffici comunali si sono messi al lavoro, già da tempo, per redigerne uno nuovo da un milione e 700 mila euro, appena presentato in assessorato. All’incontro con l’assessore Manlio Messina, che si è impegnato a reperire le somme per realizzare questo nuovo progetto, hanno partecipato anche il sindaco Alberto Arcidiacono, l’assessore Geppino Pupella e l’architetto comunale Piero Albanese.
“Ringrazio – hanno detto Arcidiacono e Intravaia – il presidente della Regione Nello Musumeci e l’assessore Messina per l’attenzione riservata alla nostra città e, in generale, a tutta la Sicilia. Era da parecchi anni, dall’ultimo bando risalente al 2013,che non si realizzavano impianti sportivi. Il governo regionale ha deciso di investire su un settore da cui dipende il benessere di ogni fascia anagrafica, realizzando o rinnovando gli impianti sportivi”.
