L’amministrazione comunale ha aderito alla campagna sensibilizzazione “LILT” per la diffusione della cultura della prevenzione e della lotta al carcinoma mammario, in collaborazione con ANCI (Associazione Nazionale Comuni Italiani).La campagna di quest’anno è volta a invitare tutti alla prevenzione attraverso le visite senologiche e ha come testimonial la giovane giornalista RAI Benedetta Rinaldi, già vicina alla LILT in qualità di coordinatrice nazionale della Consulta Femminile LILT.Grazie alla Campagna Nastro Rosa, per tutto il mese di ottobre, sarà possibile sottoporsi a visite senologiche gratuite presso le associazioni provinciali LILT e i circa 400 ambulatori attivi sul territorio nazionale, dove si daranno anche consigli, trovare materiali informativi e l’opuscolo dedicato, nonché partecipare alle molte iniziative che ogni LILT Provinciale sta preparando. Per farlo è necessario prenotarsi al numero verde SOS LILT 800 998877, dove si possono anche ottenere informazioni e indicazioni riguardo le proprie necessità. Domani alle ore 19 è prevista L’accensione delle luci rosa del Palazzo di Città che sarà preceduta da un momento di saluto ed accoglienza del sindaco Alberto Arcidiacono, in sotto il Palazzo in piazza Vittorio Emanuele cui seguirà un breve intervento di ringraziamento da parte della Presidente LILT Palermo, Francesca Glorioso. Le donne interessate sono invitate a partecipare .
