Intervento prevede il rifacimento della rete idrica, della rete fognaria, della pavimentazione e della illuminazione artistica, il quartiere che sorge nel cuore della cittadina normanna sarà riqualificato, con un finanziamento dell’assessorato regionale delle Infrastrutture e della Mobilità. di 1,8’milioni di euro che servirà per gli interventi .
La progettazione è
stata affidata all’ingegnere Pietro Faraone legale rappresentante della Società Studio Faraone di Palermo che realizzerà le opere. Il professionista ha già siglato il disciplinare di incarico professionale per regolare i rapporti con il Comune di Monreale. Per il sindaco Alberto Arcidiacono si tratta di “Un grande progetto di valorizzazione del patrimonio artistico che consentirà di rifare anche la via Cappuccini inserita nel progetto di riqualificazione che si andra’ a collegare con il quartiere Carmine dove già sono iniziati i lavori e aperti i cantieri che andranno a creare delle infrastrutture importanti per la viabilità, il decoro urbano e la ricettività turistica “.
